Born from the desire to create the best possible control configuration for the AR-15 family of rifles, the patent pend SAEBR System brings you a new level of speed, control, and safety with its never-before-seen integrated battery control device. The SAEBR System augments the standard bolt-catch and release paddle with a trigger finger-operated mechanism placed at the bottom rear of the magazine well. A simple upward slide secures the bolt; a downward slide releases it. This design does not remove or hinder any legacy controls, only enhances them.
We understand that under stress, even experienced operators can fall back on established habits. That’s why we’ve kept the traditional catch paddle for familiarity–just in case your “monkey brain” kicks in and you need it. However, our new SAEBR System provides significantly faster reloads and weapon clearing in high-pressure situations, empowering you to evolve your skills and take the competitive edge in those critical moments.
Named for its features, SAEBR stands for Symmetrical, Ambidextrous, Ergonomic Bolt-catch and Release. It is designed to provide faster, easier, and safer controls while maintaining intuitive finger placement and actuation that align seamlessly with the AR-15’s ergonomic design. Operators will no longer need to “break” their firing grip to perform any bolt manipulation functions. The system is ambidextrous for both left and right-handed operators, or for dire situations where the use of both hands is limited. And when we say ambidextrous, we truly mean it. An important part of the design is the symmetry – meaning what you use on the right is exactly mirrored on the left; exact position, exact feel.
Benefits to using the SAEBR System include:
Safety: The operator’s finger never moves in towards the trigger, which greatly reduces the chance of negligent discharges.
Caliber: The SAEBR system is not limited to one caliber or platform and will be incorporated into USMGM’s future larger and smaller caliber family of receivers.
Customization: Contact USMGM for the precise dimensions of the finger pad if you would like to 3D print custom-shaped finger pad designs.
Named after its features, the SAEBR stands for Symmetrical, Ambidextrous, Ergonomic Bolt-catch and Release. Its primary function is to be ergonomically placed and operated, intuitive and aligning with the AR-15’s ergonomic design. Benefits to using the SAEBR System include:
The operator’s fingers never move in towards the trigger which greatly reduces the chances of negligent discharge. Additionally, the SAEBR is not limited to one caliber or platform but will see its way onto the larger and smaller caliber family of receivers.
Additionally, USMGM will make available the dimensions of the Finger Pad for 3D printing of custom shaped designs.
